Saxon Slipover My Size - English

50,00 kr.

Saxon Slipover My Size is worked from the bottom up. The bottom ribbed edge is first worked flat as two separate pieces (one for the front and one for the back), which are joined to form a slit at each side of the slipover. The slipover is then worked in the round until the armholes, and then back and forth as a single piece. The front is adorned with the Irish Saxon Braid and symmetrical twists on a background of reverse stocking stitch. The shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined with a 3-needle bind off. The neckline opening and armholes are finished with ribbed edges.

Length from shoulder high point to waist edge, measured at front: approx. 55.5 (56.5) 57.5 (57.5) 58.5 (59.5) 60.5 (60.5) 62.5 (63.5) 64.5 cm [21.75 (22.25) 22.75 (22.75) 23 (23.5) 23.75 (23.75) 24.5 (25) 25.5 inches]

Gauge

16 stitches x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] (in stocking stitch on a 5.00 mm [US8] needle).

Suggested needle size

5.00 mm [US8] circular needle, 4.50 mm [US7] circular needle for ribbing. Make a swatch to ensure that your gauge is correct before you start the pattern. Depending on how you knit, you may need to go up or down half a needle size to meet the gauge. Gauge in the suggested yarn is measured after washing and blocking of a swatch. Note that row gauge is very important in this pattern as it dictates the neckline and shoulder shaping.
