The cardigan is worked from the top and down as a single piece. The number of stitches is increased incrementally throughout the yoke to give a pleasant detail and good shaping. The neckline and sleeve cuffs are decorated in seed stitch. Button- and buttonhole bands are knitted with the cardigan. The trousers are worked from the top down with an elasticated waistband. Short rows are used to shape the back for a good fit. The waistband and leg edges are decorated in seed stitch.
