Emily’s Top Junior is knitted from the top and down in the round with short row shaping around the neck opening. The armholes are shaped with a classical raglan construction. All edges are decorated with a delicate and feminine daisy stitch border.

28 stitches x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] (in stocking stitch on a 3.00 mm [US2½] needle).
3.00 mm [US2½] circular needle (60 cm [24 inches] or 80 cm [31.5 inches]), 3.00 mm [US2½] double-‐pointed needles for sleeves (sleeves may also be worked using magic loop technique if preferred). Although it is possible to work the daisy stitch on regular needle tips, I do recommend lace needles (i.e. with pointy tips). Make a swatch before you start knitting to ensure that your gauge is correct. Depending on how you knit, you may need to go up or down half a needle size to meet the gauge. Gauge in the suggested yarn is measured after washing and blocking of a swatch.
