Little Sailor - English

Little Sailor is a two-piece set consisting of a tee and shorts. Both pieces are worked from the top down. The tee has a collar and is shaped with raglan borders. The anchor is embroidered onto the finished tee using duplicate stitching. The shorts have an elasticated waistband and short row shaping on the backside.

Gauge

22 stitches x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] (in stocking stitch on a 3.50 mm [US4] needle).

Suggested needle size 

3.50 mm [US4] circular needle and double-pointed needles for legs and sleeves (unless using magic loop method). 3.00 mm [US2½] circular needle or double-pointed needles for ribbed edges. Make a swatch before you start knitting to ensure that your gauge is correct. Depending on how you knit, you may need to go up or down half a needle size to meet the gauge. Gauge in the suggested yarn is measured after washing and blocking of a swatch.
